We started the day at the world famous Louvre museum. This is the 2nd most visited museum in the world (next to the Vatican museum in Rome). The Louvre is home to the Mona Lisa, Aphrodite, The Winged Victory, etc, etc, etc.
The outside of the musuem is absolutely massive. The Louvre was originally built as a fortress in the late 1100's. Graudually is was built up and became a chateau (palace) until Versailles was built in the 17th century. For more info, check out
