Around Bolsward and Other Random Thoughts

JR and I have created a great walking path throughout the city--it takes about an hour and gives us some good exercise! (BTW JR has already lost 8.8 lbs! I'm only down 1) For part of the walk, we follow a canal through the city..here are a few pics:

People have really pretty gardens here--and the flowers are gorgeous. No one uses mulch though, and it drives me crazy! It just looks unfinished, but JR thinks they have really fertile soil and do not need mulch...

Cambuur has its last pre-season game tomorrow night, so we will be going to Leeuwarden for that. Saturday we are going to Amsterdam! Have a great weekend everyone! (PS I'm trying the bike again today..)
